Rebuilding the C-Universe

Time for a change, my friends.
I've started this page some 10 years ago, having nothing but a small camera in my mobile phone (mobiles did not have cameras back then, it had to be bought separately and was considered extremely geeky
), some basic skills in CorelDraw and lots of ideas.
Everything changed from that time. My tools of trade, personal life, place of residence... everything. Yeah, you probably already know where this is going.
The Caithuniverse account is hereby frozen from May 21st, 2016. No new work will be added, comments answered etc.
The account will however not be removed. All the artwork is staying where it is, just click the 'Gallery' tab at the top of the site. And I'm not leaving this place - only adjusting to the times.
Caithuniverse at the moment is being replaced with RadioTeleParanoja Schizo Network. This will include as follows:

Many times I've thought of abandoning this site in favour of concentrating on my other projects. I tend to drop in here less and less often - and not because I have no stuff to publish. There are lots on my disk waiting to be revealed to the world (like the whole Beaulieu Motor Museum trip), but somehow... I just can't make it.
The counter on top of this page says I've reached 530 deviations. And there used to be way over 600, before I purged some of the old and glitchy stuff that I'm not fond of anymore. This way or another, 530 is a lot. I've been here for nine years. Almost a half of my teen and adult life combined.
And yet I want to leave... sometimes. But once in a while comes the day when I decide to upload something, and in a few seconds I get notifications that people like it. People better in the trade than me, with better technique and equipment, sometimes professional artists. And I would like to thank you all for that.
I'm not a daily guest here. But in the end it's worth the effort.

Resurface

OK, so I decided to crawl back to surface with my writing towards daylight after several years of total silence. I have a blog, where my musings meet surface, but heh, honestly... Tumblr as a writing platform sucks and doesn't even swallow. So maybe it's time to clear the cobwebs off Deviantart.
As much as I've started to hate Tumblr, I'm not giving up Angielskie Golebie (Pigeons of England) - still it's the main source of information for my Polish-speaking friends. But recently I thought that the English-speaking part should also have its share. So I'm reviving my journal, with sparkles of electricity and mad laughter from my hunchback minion, pedalling on the dynamo with cracks of whip over his head.
I'm nowhere near the guy who shut the last page four years ago. More disillusioned, a tad more bitter and cynical - but more experienced in battles with life and paying less attention to bullshit. As my first year in UK is completed, I still struggle with finding a sense of purpose in what I'm doing. Exchanged long hair for a mohawk, and that's more than just a sign that I will not bend over before circumstances. The will to go my own way is now implanted really deep.
Welcome again to my twisted world, where mature decisions mix with total idiocy.
